Cajun is a down-home, intimate music, made for community dance halls and picnics. It celebrates the fine things in life: good food, good times, romancing and dancing. It's spirited and inclusive enough for children, old folks and every age in-between to enjoy the party. This is the tradition Sarah Savoy maintains with the Francadians.  Performances are sprinkled with jokes, cooking demonstrations and, of course, rollicking squeeze box and fiddle-driven music. As the daughter of Cajun musicians Marc and Ann Savoy, Sarah might be described as Cajun aristocracy.

Then there are the differences. Sarah lives in Paris and the Francadians are French musicians. However, David Rolland, Vincent Blin and Manolo Gonzales all sound as if they come from the heart of Lafayette, Louisiana.

Cajun music is renowned for its strong women, and Sarah's repertoire includes songs from the strongest, sexiest and oldest of them all, the incomparable Cleoma Falcon.
